Ricky Gray, the club professional, has been at Renfrew since April 2010.

14 years a PGA Member, Ricky has built up a wealth of knowledge on the game of golf and the latest golf equipment - and of course has great teaching expertise.

Originally from East Kilbride, Ricky completed his PGA Training in the mid-nineties at Hollandbush Golf Club under the watchful eye of Ian Rae. Having spent 4 years gaining his PGA qualification, Ricky then took up the post of Teaching Professional at Utrechtse Golf Club Amelisweerd in the Netherlands.

Following his return to Scotland Ricky played full-time golf competing on the PGA Tartan Tour and also on the PGA Europro Tour and more recently working for an agency placing talented golfers in to Universities in the United States, on golf scholarships.

All golfers, members and non-members, are welcome to take lessons. There is also an extensive Junior Coaching Programme which runs through the school summer holidays.
